  • Engine: The Honda GX270 provides 9 hp (6.7 kW) for screed widths less than 42.5 feet.

  • Frame: The screed is constructed with a durable steel frame.

  • Vibration system: It uses an eccentric shaft system to produce vibrations of approximately 10,000 vpm (vibrations per minute).

  • Blades: The blades are made from 10-gauge galvanized steel.

  • Maximum consolidation depth: The SE12 can consolidate concrete up to 10 inches deep.

  • Lowest concrete slump: The screed is rated for use with concrete as low as a 3-inch slump.

  • Assembly: A 25-foot screed is built by connecting several smaller truss sections, such as 10-foot, 7.5-foot, 5-foot, and 2.5-foot lengths.

  • Controls: The screed can be equipped with either a manual or hydraulic winch option.

Estimated weight for a 25-foot assembly

To estimate the weight for a 25-foot length, you can use the weights for the individual truss sections:

  • 10 ft section: 180 lbs

  • 7.5 ft section: 135 lbs

  • 5 ft section: 90 lbs

  • 2.5 ft section: 46 lbs

A common way to create a 25-foot screed is to combine two 10-foot sections and one 5-foot section. The total weight would be:

  • (180 lbs x 2) + 90 lbs = 450 lbs for the sections alone.

The final weight of the complete assembly will be higher once the engine, winches, and end handles are included.
